That’s why we teamed up with local filmmaker Heir Brandon and his creative studio, Heir Digital, to bring you a commercial inspired by the decade that defined beauty for an entire generation: the 90s.
A Love Letter to Nostalgic 80s and 90s Hair
Our latest campaign is more than a salon spotlight—it’s a full-on throwback. Shot in the stunning architecture and design of Silk Salon located in Tulsa Oklahoma and starring real Silk Stylist in Residence Dreece and real SIlk client Jasmine, the ad captures the soft lighting, signature hair flips, and effortless attitude of the iconic hair commercials many of us grew up watching.
The 80s and 90s were full of powerful beauty moments, especially in hair care. Hair was bold, styles were unapologetic, and the energy was unmatched. That’s what we bring to every client in the chair, and that’s what we brought to this commercial.
